Pack 416 selected as Four Peaks District Pack of the Year!
Caps off to the den leadership, the pack committee, parents, volunteers and our awesome, awesome scouts.  Yee haw!

Sunday Doughnut & Bagel hospitality at St. Joan of Arc
Our Pack is now doing a monthly service project at St. Joan of Arc, our chartered organization.  Each month, one of our dens will host the doughnut and bagel hospitality reception after each Mass.  For detailed instructions, check out this document.

Volunteers (desperately) Needed!
Over 50% of the pack committee will be moving on to Boy Scouts in February of 2010.  The future of the pack depends on involved parents.  If you volunteer to help now, you can partner with someone for the remainder of this year.  Then next year, you will have  experience.  Don't wait for someone else to do it!  It's fun, you'll make new friends, and your boy will learn by your good example.

Volunteer Incentive Programs

Volunteers throughout the Grand Canyon Council are visiting with their employers about volunteer incentive programs (different companies have differing names).  Mini-grants are made upon application and approval rewarding volunteerism. Contact your Human Resources department or Corporate Foundation for details.

Complete the upper portion of the VIP application form and send it to the

Grand Canyon Council
Director of Development

2969 N Greenfield Rd

Phoenix, AZ  85016

We will complete the remaining portion of the form - providing validation and forwarding the application to the company for processing.

It is important to note that due to IRS regulations matching gifts and volunteerism grants are not available to units.
